Like every year on the eve of Kartik Purnima day starts the Baliyatra Festival - the Orissa Trade Fare, where more than 1500 Stalls present there products for the 7 – 9 days event at the Gadagadiya Grounds , near Barabati Fort in Cuttack, beside the river Mahanadi. 2011 Baliyatra also brings lot more art and crafts, from all over India, for the visitors.
