Self Motivation Required Stories

Thomas Alva Edison InventionsF

Motivational Story

In the year 2002 I joined India’s leading and best technological Media Company with its innovative unit called MEDIAONE. Mediaone is a learning place with great experiences to the topics, which you hardly touched upon in the academics. During my Internship I read a story on the Great Thomas Alva Edison, the Inventor of Light Bulb. It makes an impression on me and it keeps coming , whenever I need it automatically. May be its one of the motivation factor that initiated my profile transformation from doing corporate Jobs to Business and entrepreneurship. The story on the achievement has been an inspiration to me for the past and here it is in a snippet .

When Thomas Edison invented the light bulb, he tried over 2000 experiments before he got it to work. A young reporter asked him how it felt to fail so many times. He said, “I never failed once. I invented the light bulb. It just happened to be a 2000-step process.”

The words are very clear , and the testimony to the fact that every wrong step followed a step Forward. Life is the path with all those steps, and its Motivating.
